Balwinder Singh Dhillon is trained as an electrical engineer at Guru Nanak Engineering College in Ludhiana, Punjab and later achieved high marks for the UPSC exam. After moving to the United States in 1991, he later founded Amer Technology, in 1995, with his wife and received the small business of the year award from Texas governor in 2006. In 2009 Amer Technology was recognized as top 50 Asian owned small business in USA. He is passionate about unlocking every child’s unlimited potential, if guided properly and given the resources to explore. To that end, he has mentored Sikh youth in San Antonio, Texas since 1993, including teaching Sikh ideology and kirtan. He currently lives in San Antonio, Texas, and spends his free time training for Ironman triathlons and piloting his plane. Narinder Kaur Dhillon received her Bachelor’s degree in Education and Master’s degree in Political Science in Arya College in Ludhiana, Punjab. She co-founded Amer Technology Inc. alongside her husband, however focuses most of her energy finding ways to continually support students in Punjab with both monetary resources and personal mentorship. A passionate teacher, she spends her spare time teaching and administering the Gurmukhi school at the Sikh Center of San Antonio. She also lives in San Antonio, and enjoys running and tending to her vegetable garden. Harjot Kaur is an experienced public interest and transactional law attorney. Harjot received a Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law, and her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication from Trinity University. She currently lives in Austin TX. Isha Kaur is a marketing professional, based in Austin, TX. In her spare time she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of Sikhs and has organized multiple Sikh camps and workshops in Chicago, New York, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. She has been a lead facilitator for Camp Sikh Virsa in Chicago for 10+ years and brings her leadership and planning skills to Khalsa Education Foundation. Narinder Singh is a mathematician. He is a Graduate in Science and Masters in economics. He has been in Government service teaching students for 36 years. He does social service by teaching math and science to young aspiring students. Dr Paramjit Kaur BA Hons, LLB, MA English & Pol. Sc. M. Phil, PhD Former Principal Khalsa College for Women Sidhwan Khurd (Ludhiana), Former Associate Professor in Political Science SD College Hoshiarpur Princepal Singh Dhillon completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration in San Antonio, Texas. He has helped run Amer Technology since he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree, and continually grows the business to new heights. An intrepid entrepreneur, he also runs a real estate development business, and has co-founded a startup company with his wife. He is also passionate about mentoring Sikh youth by volunteering his time teaching Sikh principles at Sikh youth camps around the US. Prince lives in Austin, Texas, and enjoys hiking, exercising, and traveling. Dr. Puneet Kaur Grewal is a University Gold Medalist. She has extensive experience of more than 14 years in gender issues and ethnographic research. She has several research papers and a book on Honour Killing to her credit. She has been member of several Committees for Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace.
